  11.  AB    OBJECTIVE: Japan Hospital Association has been active in the improvement
  12.        of health services for patients with HIV/AIDS and education among health
  13.        care providers, customers and society. Stop AIDS Campaign Committee
  14.        (SAC) was organized in Oct. 1993 for this purpose. The activities of SAC
  15.        will be introduced for increase awareness to call for more advice and
  16.        support for its cause. METHOD: 1. Health services organizations' network
  17.        and its establishment. 2. Workshop for hospital administrators,
  18.        physicians, nurses and co-medicals was organized for the above purpose.
  19.        3. A trade mark competition for SAC is underway. The trade mark will be
  20.        used for the symbol mark for SAC. 4. AIDS information services network
  21.        is planning to be organized. Collection and distribution of information
  22.        regarding HIV/AIDS health services is distributed to network hospitals.
  23.        5. Planning of delivery of pamphlet of SAC at Narita airport. DISCUSSION
  24.        AND CONCLUSIONS: The SAC activities have been underway within Japan
  25.        Hospital Association. Suggestions and support are requested.
